Toronto ad fish 🤠 I’ve spent most of my career working as a copywriter in London (6 years here, 2 years Toronto) and the market is pretty different here. I’m planning on moving back home but wondered….how do you find work in Toronto? Agencies barely post openings, is the recruiter scene strong? Is it mostly who you know?

Is there bowl to discuss interview questions
TCS is the worst company one can be in.
Cheap mindset management cares more about timesheet, wfo, forceful mandatory trainings, imposing strict restrictions on laptop, access to personal docs only via vpn,no employee well being no salary hikes nth at all.90% projects filled with freshers coz they cost less.No WLB for good dedicated hard working employees as they are punished with more and more work, leaves rewards mostly for people who don’t work. But no issues kyunki job security hai 😂

Billable means parent company gets money from client on you..so you are safe from getting fired
IBM will keep $90-95. Based on Fresher's salary, they will get $5-10.
If a company has hired you and put you on a project or area of work where they are charging a client for your services, it means you are getting revenue to the company and are being billed.
If any client is not being billed for your work, it means you are not billable or just a cost to the company. As the previous post mentioned, Non billable resources or roles would be the first to let go in a layoff situation.
P.S. - Billable and Non billable can be within the organization as well, but th concept remains the same. E.g. I am in the consulting team, but I get billed for my services to the manufacturing department. So, for the company, I am non-billable, but for my department/team, I am billable.
Billable means core team it may include TLs, Developers even managers depends on the client's budget plan. Non billable means without client budget your resource utilization some cases managers, technical architect and buffer resources.
Same as asset and liability 😂
