Yes, non-obvious answer lol. We all hate the hours. Pay can be shitty too honestly depends on which bank you work for .
I love the pay and hate the people haha. Still a bit obvious, but maybe a spicier answer than above. Feel like I'm selling my soul everyday working with these sharks but I'm paying down my loans and mortgage with incredible speed, and that's hard to pass up

Same above. I can’t even say I “love the pay” but i’m doing no more than 55-60 hrs a week so can’t complain. Willing to go to a bigger firm and make more tbh.
Thank you! The pay is not the “best part”. I know a ton of IB analysts and associates that makes less than 200k a year while working 60+ hours a week.
