For a VP-level AI Product Manager at major UK investment banks like Barclays, Citi, or JPMorgan with 10+ years of experience, base salaries are typically £120,000–£180,000, with total compensation including bonuses often reaching £150,000–£250,000+, depending on the role and bank. Are you interviewing or just shopping around?
Interviewing - offers seems to be more in the 120-160 range so far. 160-250+ seem rarer or picked up by those already at the bank for some time.
I am a VP in Barclays in London and sad to see these figures 😔. Nowhere close
Are you in AI?
VP is a vague title, there are VPs running teams of 15-20 and super experiences on 150 base. I’ve seen fresh promote solo performer VPs on 75k. The title truely means nothing, experience and responsibility is everything.
I ended up landing at 130. Missed 1-2 roles at the 150 mark that went internal.
