Hey everyone! This is my first time posting but I thought I’d try to ask, I received a request from a recruiter to interview for a new insurance company I’ve never heard of: Branch. Looked it up and it seems to be a new “Techsurance” company working with both home and auto policies. Does anyone have any information they could share about this company? Thank you!

Does a 20 year long career at Deloitte hold much value in the marketplace in light of the current economic situation? Started as a change leadership Consultant, but ultimately spent majority of my career in Resource Management and Global Mobility.

Hello everyone! My co-worker and I are preparing for the SHRM certification exam and Hoping to take it in December. I’m looking to purchase the SHRM learning system books from someone that has already taken the exam this year. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Interesting experience at an interview today. Apparently 7 years in PA is not "real world experience" which is required for a private job.

I applied for a job within my unit that I do not qualify for. Now, I have an interview for this job. Me knowing I do not meet most of the qualifications for this position has my imposter syndrome thinking I shouldn’t even do this interview because it would be a waste of time. 3L with mostly A’s and B’s. I am having the worst luck trying to find work for after school and my experience working with lawyers has left me completely dejected. I cannot get an interview to save my life. I was so excited to get an externship summer after 2L with a small business and IP firm only to get yelled at on the phone a few times for not doing an assignment correctly. Mind you, I was working FOR FREE as it was a school connected externship. That made me never want to work in the law.
