Probably a Senior Business Analyst, Back office operations.

Lol Vp is probably consulting Manager level

funny

What do you want to communicate and what roles are you applying for?

Transformations would usually imply implementing cost saving programs

Strategic initiatives implies ad hoc project based work for other people

Business Operations is the most open-ended / non-descript

What’s your actual title?

like

The job title on my offer letter is just VP. When I asked my Management about designation, they said I can style myself however as long as it is within scope of what I do for my job. So here I am, trying to get more opinions.

like

Seems there are a lot of consultants who are sensitive about the VP title in banking (Manager and Senior Manager equivalent). Why not just answer the question being asked.

funny

Wow this is how I find out my mom's looking to leave her job

funny

Banking need to stop handing out VP titles to people who don’t own some sort of P&L or revenue generating operations

like

Yes I know…but logically the title makes 0 sense in terms of op model or responsibility

Depends on what you’re applying for

like

All 3 - depends on the role you are applying for

like

You don’t need the second “for”

I’d go with the first. “Strategic Initiatives” I would assume project manager, but wants to spin it as “Strategy”

Just out of curiosity, have you ever started a new job and thought what the hell am I getting myself into?!?
If it was the wrong fit how long did you grin and bear it? 6 months / 1 year / longer?
Did it get better with time or worse? (For instance just a case of lack of know-how)
If you left did you find securing a new job difficult due to only being there for so little time?

I had cleared all the rounds in S&P and had salary discussion 1.5 month back. The HR is always saying the management is on leave and will soon get the approval and release offer. Today she shas asked for one more week to release the offer. Should I wait for it or move on. Are they waiting for some other candidate to join before rejecting me at last moment. Only 10 days of my LWD are left.

I am a Strategic Sourcing Manager with 7 YOE in both direct and indirect spend across various industries (Life sciences, IT and Insurance) I have been offered a role with Fidelity for 13 lpa + 1.5 variable. Offer seems better than the national average for similar roles but I feel I would be underpaid based on the current market, my skills and value I will be bringing to the table. Any suggestions for offer negotiations?

I was a Manager at a Big4 doing PM fed work earlier this year. I decided to join a small firm to pursue cloud sales. However, the position is extremely technical in nature and I'm required to speak tech ( kubernetes, openshift, CICD) to potential clients.
While I have learned from the exposure, I dont intend to continue in a tech role & looking to exit. I'm thinking of Customer/ Partner Success Manager roles with one of the CSPs. Are there other non tech cloud exit opps in industry to consider?

Any googlers that can offer a perspective? Cleared all interviews for TPM. No HC review yet, as the recruiter says the new process is to find a match before HC. Had conversations with 3-4 teams so far, many times great feedback/compliments even during the team matching chat, but no successful match yet. I am told that there were internal candidates that fit the role better. The wait on since May, starting to lose hope now. Is team matching supposed to be this hard?
