Any Spotify people here? Noticed there’s an AM role going at the moment in the UK but not sure what experience level it is. For reference I’ve got 6 years in ad sales experience with 3 years management (both in music industry). Would this be comfortable or is it worth holding out for AD?

Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?
Hey, I have 4 YOE and currently a manager at PwC and have been managing teams for a little over a year now. My role mainly consists of leading teams of engineers deliver MVPs to our clients.
If I wanted to exit to Google or Facebook (Meta) what role would align for me? I was looking at engineering manager roles but unsure if that’s too senior for me.

No, but don’t be surprised if most of the job opportunities you get are pretty shitty. Things start to improve a lot when you get your first promo and/or hit 2 YOE.

Why would you want to jump ship
Depends on the firm, but in this economy you may be stuck at entry level salary for 2-3 years unless you change jobs
More like 2-3 years at least, earlier than that and you just find entry level stuff
Always keep your eyes open for cool opportunities, I switched at 1YOE myself
From where? I am one promotion in and just applied to BCG so anxious about not having heard back yet (just finished the pymetrics a few days ago lol so i know I shouldn’t have heard yet, BUT) and just want answers
You can always apply but a year is short in tune eyes of most recruiters, especially if you're still early in your career so you'll probably find you have to work a lot harder to get opportunities that are not as good than if you try again in a year or so.
