I was a Manager at a Big4 doing PM fed work earlier this year. I decided to join a small firm to pursue cloud sales. However, the position is extremely technical in nature and I'm required to speak tech ( kubernetes, openshift, CICD) to potential clients.
While I have learned from the exposure, I dont intend to continue in a tech role & looking to exit. I'm thinking of Customer/ Partner Success Manager roles with one of the CSPs. Are there other non tech cloud exit opps in industry to consider?

I got a call from KPMG HR for the role of Associate consultant in research team, When she asked me about the expected ctc, I think I quoted less than the market standards but since I am underpaid currently so the amount I quoted was 40-45% hike on my fixed. I have experience of 2.9years
Can anybody please suggest if I clear their interviews will they consider increasing CTC from whatever I quoted becase upon searching for ACon roles they pay much higher than what I quoted.

I am Product Owner, and have an opportunity to change my Title to "Product Manager". The actual work I'm doing will not change significantly, it's just a Title change, since I've been working less and less with the scrum teams and doing more product analysis over the last year. My main goal with this is to ensure this looks good on my CV. My thought is a Product Manager role seems more senior to a product owner. Any thoughts on this and any advice on how to approach this? Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?

How acceptable is it to customize role title on resume? As in, if its okay to say “Product Manager and Consultant” / “Product Management Consultant” vs official tittle of just Consultant? Consultant alone doesn’t say much and I’ve been designing web/mobile apps for a few years so the customization is apt, not BS.
