What’s the current state of your desk look like? I’ll paint a picture of mine for you. Stuff everywhere- books, keys, papers, toys, binders, post-it notes. May seem chaotic at first glance but I know where everything is should you ask me to find something…

Lol to each their own! As long as you're not affecting anyone else, I should say. I get grossed out by coworkers letting food sit on their desks for way too long. I think it's disrespectful and rude. But other than that, I don't care what someone else's desk looks like. I, for one, love a tidy desk and find it much more helpful for productivity

I'm with you on that one- old food at the desk is YUCK

I wish I had a bigger desk because I would love to have things spread out on it. Most everything is shoved in my drawers and I have only the vaguest clue where anything is. Maybe when/if a slow day ever comes I will try to re-organize and actually keep it that way this time!

Oh it is not uncommon for me to get yelled at by my ocd manager because my desk is so chaotic. So, I will clean and organize my desk to please him but honestly it does not last long. I simply cannot help myself, I work better in a state of chaos. My manager should just stop coming by office we could me in his overly clean work environment

If it works for you that is all that matters! I thrive in chaos, lol.

Please who knows about the advisory practice within the PwC financial crime unit (Canada Acceleration Centre)? I understand it is a client non-facing advisory role. Would it be a good career decision for someone coming from GRC firms like Kroll, Control Risk or Exiger? I am concerned about the negative reviews relating to the PwC acceleration centres in general, and getting stuck in a role which does not provide growth opportunities. Thank you.

Hi there! I interview for a position with a planned Parenthood this week for a role as Special Events Manager to oversee their fundraising department. Because most of my work and experience has been in freelance. I’m having a hard time figuring out what my work experience translates to in a Salary position. Therefore, I wonder what my base pay should be. Does anyone have any experience in the role?
