What's wrong with LTM? After the final HR discussion on compensation, I had to wait for 1.5 months without any updates. During this period, the HR did not respond to emails or calls, and on a few occasions, my calls were disconnected. Eventually, my application status was unexpectedly changed from ‘HR’ back to ‘Applied’ without any explanation. It did not feel like there was a genuine or active hiring process - you know what I mean.

Going into my fourth year of practice and seriously considering becoming a legal recruiter. Does anyone have any insights on this path? Pros? Cons? Advice?

I just boomeranged to Google from a very hyped, private fintech - and my experience there was completely miserable. Bad culture, input vs output oriented perf, bureaucratic, etc.

I feel relieved to be out of that mix, but I feel so invalidated by friends, colleagues etc who gaslight by saying publicly how great the company was - even when many of them would reveal to me in private (often in tears) that they were miserable too. I feel very alone in my experience and (cont in comments)
