What kind of vintage pieces do you have in mind? The big risk here is pieces that are misrepresented as original - be it frankenwatches put together from parts, poorly maintained or badly polished examples, or fakes altogether.

Ultimately completely original pieces will command the most money but there’s a lot of depth to this area and lots of people who’d like to take advantage of those who don’t know the nuance.

I guess my desire to learn more stems from my interest in rare or unique models such as the 1019 Milgauss or a pre-Daytona chronometer.

Completely get the risk for counterfeits or frankenwatches so was curious as to where more knowledgeable members of the community go to browse/purchase.

I got offer from cognizant for skills appium(mobile testing), selenium. My yoe is 2.8 yrs. Designation is PA. DOJ is 29th dec. So are they projects in cognizant for testing or they will keep on bench. And projects are more of manual or automation testing

My friend’s parent’s jewelry store has a Bluesy (ref 16613) in “like new” condition + box from 2008 for 10k. I had been contemplating buying a Rolex, but wasn’t super set on it. Is this a solid deal? Chrono24 seems to have couple years older ones for around 8-10k in very good/with papers, so not sure if I should keep shopping around

I thought the power reserve on DJ41 Ref126333 was about 70hours, but I noticed it’s about 40-48 hours on mine. Wear mine about every other day, but not on weekends and then Monday morning when I go to wear it, it’s dead and have to wind it. Anyone else seeing this?
