I know it comes with the job but the non-stop LinkedIn Messages are starting to get old. The legit requests are one thing but I get dozens of solicitations which week...

I am guilty of it. Sometimes, I think that it is a number game instead of focusing on quality. Now I'm trying to build meaningful relationships with recruiters. It is easier to get a job like that.

Same. Dudes are tripping over themselves to get to me

Yeah, I honestly don't know what to do about that. I try to do batch responses but it's like if I reply to 50, 75 more come in.

I salute people for taking the initiative to reach out to the recruiter but when you're the recruiter, it's extremely exhausting.

I agree! The volume of messages I receive on a daily basis gets really overwhelming. Replying takes a lot of my time.

It is annoying to have to scour through hundreds of messages to filter out the good ones. Wish there was a fix to this, there are always those who are shady when it comes to recruiting.

I thought I was the only person with that sentiment. It is indeed very annoying. The amount of emails are keep piling up and the important ones are covered up by new irrelevant ones.

I have a friend who was let go a few months into his first job after college (reason: the manager felt like he wasn't grasping the training content to the level that was expected). He's worried about if he should put the experience on his resume anyway, if he does will recruiters ask why he had such a short time at this place, and what will recruiters think if he explains he was let go. What are some things recruiters expect from candidates in this situation to continue considering them?

When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.
