Local CDFIs tend to keep track of and have partnerships with banks and other organizations that administer grants to small businesses (and will provide assistance applying for them). Your state and local government websites should also have a list of programs and other resources, along with the SBA’s site! There are tons of programs out there but many are very specific in their target demographic so getting connected with resources that do this all day every day will be key to not only identifying available funding but getting it into your account and growing your business successfully once you have the capital to do so!
Whatever minority group you identify with likely has a “_____ small business association” in the area that tailors its services to small business owners facing those battles unique to your demographic, such as inequitable access to capital, language barriers, etc.
