Rethink for me. All depts work bettter together than the other places I’ve been at by a lot. I think becuse “happy clients” means clients who get at least decent creative work generally. They signed up for good work. That’s not the case at some account service led agency’s.
Agency doesn’t come to mind but individuals do.
A few big differentials: you have an opinion and understand the creative work. You are proactive with figuring things out (comes from understanding the work). You help sell the work a a lot of account people will share screen and just pass over to the creative team to do all of the selling. And you hold clients accountable and reasonable.
I see a pattern where client services are becoming project managers and deal with logistics while forgetting the client relationship and client management.
The worst account people become another client that you have to deal with and it becomes quicker to work around them instead of with them.
Rethink. Because account people also want to do great creative work. In most places, account people just want the easiest path to make clients happy.

I’ve worked at rethink and I’m not there anymore, I agree the account team is great but the rethink model doesn’t work for all the other agencies - it works there because clients expect different things.
it is quite hard to push for all the good work outside of the rethink bubble but I do try to help the creative team the same way I used to do at rt!
TAXI 2 / TAXI was the best for me. Everyone was so dialled into selling great work but were all fun and cool. I miss that office.
Agreed! T1 Canadian Tire and Boston Pizza and T2 Koodo and Kraft. Good ole days!
Rethink.
Everyone is held accountable, and clients know what they signed up for. (Whether they actually want what they signed up for is a different story.)
@Strategy Director 2 - I could give you a list of the many, many people I've worked with that would be just as happy with the client's logo on screen for 30 seconds to make it all go away. Consider yourself lucky to not have had to work in that setting.
There are some amazing people at Zulu. Smart, collaborative, supportive of great work and just generally cool, nice people. No agency is perfect but these are some of the best people I’ve worked with.
