I'm feeling a lot of anger towards my manager (now he's acting normal but there were moments where he was condescending/dismissive/mocked my and others work/arrogant/said stuff was "wrong" constantly/belittling the difficulty of tasks etc. in the past project).

I am convinced that Elon Musk only started The Boring Company to create tunneling machines for Mars habitats underground. If you look at their website at the size of the machine it looks like it would fit snugly inside a Starship hull. Why else would someone living a mission to Mars waste time on a solution for annoying traffic. Real tunneling solution would be far larger for city use. No objections from me, think it’s smart.

Had a heart to heart talk with my director today. Been feeling overwhelmed and burnt out since my last job and trying to onboard into this new job (started 3 mths ago). I didn’t have any break between jobs so I realized I burned out quick here. It’s usually not my thing to be too honest in a professional setting but I needed him to know bc my performance was affected. We brainstormed how we can work together to make this a better experience for me. Hopefully he was genuine and doesn’t fire me!

It looks like a top notch deliverable from the outside with formatting, context, etc. But once the client digs into the details, it’s game over for my anxiety. Cant get enough manager review, but Im trying. It’s like the push to just send something by a certain timeline means we sacrifice accuracy.
