Yeah, I can see that happening. They just don’t seem to be relevant.
Polestar. They can’t develop vehicles on time, can’t hit their sales goals, their price point is too high and they won’t be able to compete with other luxury brands as those luxury brands really build out their EV lineup.
Also jaguar. They stopped production of all vehicles other than the f pace and are now becoming an EV only brand, which is stupid when you think about who their target market is. Their rush into the EV market when things are so uncertain is laughable. They should have stuck to the XJ, XF, and f type. Why would anyone buy an overpriced EV from a brand that is known to be one of the least reliable brands of all time. The people who bought jag are enthusiasts, and switching to EV basically gave the middle finger to their target market.
The obvious answer in my mind is Chrysler.
They sell a single new model, unless you count the very much out of production 2023 300, which Chrysler still lists on their website for some reason.
It just makes zero sense for that brand to still exist. And it makes no sense to pump money into reviving a brand that in it's best modern interpretation was a Buick competitor. Especially since it would surprise me to see Buick get the axe too.
Fleets will continue to buy Mitsubishi at volume
Chrysler Pacifica is one of the primary American minivans. While sales are not as good as Honda and Toyota, they are certainly exceeding Chrysler’s targets
Eh, not saying get rid of the Pacifica. Just make it a Dodge and retire the Chrysler brand.
Mitsubishi has relevance outside of the United States; Chrysler does not. No idea why the brand hasn’t been axed.

I was going to say this exactly!👍
Rising Star
Mitsubishi is on the way to irrelevance already. It has pulled out of a number of other large markets besides just the US and is no longer developing its own platforms.
I'd think Chrysler is next on the chopping block. The Pacifica cannot sustain the brand on its own and Stellantis is lollygagging when it comes to investing in the brand.

Echoing the above. Mitsubishi, Chrysler, Infiniti, Jaguar, and a bunch of EV brands.
