Lexus GX has my vote, they’re absolute tanks and have a lot of aftermarket modular support if that’s what you’re in to.
My folks have a 2009 Yukon with almost 400k miles on it and it’s showing no signs of slowing down.
Expedition is like a luxury f150 and has my vote. I’d wait a year for when they add the hybrid though so you can get nearly 30mpgs in the city. Conversely, the Lexus GX is insanely nice, but way behind the times.
If you are buying new, GM vehicles are fine as long as you deactivate DFM (dynamic fuel management).
I needed /wanted more space so was looking at the new sequoia and Tahoe. I went with a 2022 Tahoe Z71 with the 6.2l v8. I'm very happy with the decision. Happy with the independent rear suspension, mag/air ride, smooth 10 speed transmission, etc. Depending on availability, I would look into the 2023 sequoia.
If you don’t mind me asking.. what’s your salary? And how much did you finance
I was faced with a similar decision last year and went with an Expedition Limited instead of the Yukon SLT. Felt it drove better and was a much better bang for the buck
I’m a Chevy man and would also prefer the expedition I think. Had a few as rentals and they’re great.
Fwiw I have a 2022 Lexus GX and think that’s the best choice out of what you mentioned, albeit quite a bit smaller inside
The new sequoia looks phenomenal. Get either that or the GX
Unfortunately I can’t wait till the new Sequoia comes out. Apparently they had another delay and it won’t be delivered till October.
I need some thing starting in June or July
