Look for a Toyota car forum. I learned everything I know about working on my cars from forums. Most will have a specific channel for your make/model with lots of DIY guides, and best of all you can find people to answer newbie questions for little jobs you attempt. Half the battle is having the right tools, but most basic maintenance is doable with basics.
Buy a shop manual

Thanks all. Car and house maintenance (and taxes) and things I am not good at and am hoping to learn the basics of. This was really helpful.
The trick is just start with something manageable. The shop manual will tell you how to do it in your car, you tube will show you how to do it generally (unless you can find videos on your car) but the shop manual will tell you specs of equipment, fluids, torque you should be aiming for on tightening, etc). To me it’s the same as our job getting to figure out what the problem causing the symptoms is. But instead of business it’s a physical object. Best of luck!
