PHR vs SHRM vs AIRS? Which one should I pursue?

Has anyone bought/ done the HRCI Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion in HR Management? I already have my PHR, but I’m looking to gain more knowledge/skills and beef up my resume. Is it worth doing? The course is $239 and you get 12 Recert credits with it.

Has anyone transitioned from being an Account Executive into a CSM at a new company? If so, how’d you do it and what was the process like?

What’s the best advice for someone who wants to get into an SDR role but only has admin experience? are there any SDR courses they can take?

Should I go for a BDR role with base salary of 65-75 plus commission or stick with my new account executive role at 57k base plus commission. Not sure what the commission structure is for the bdr role.

Hi All, looking for some ideas to create a 30 60 90 for a 2nd round interview. The role is a Channel Management/ Development role for a single partner that is a communications provider. The partner has business in SMB, Enterprise, and Pub Sector.

I'm trying to find something unique/ forward thinking that is different from what is typically said. Hopefully some ideas how to engage with the partner leadership to bring value

About to hit my 6 year anniversary (fully vested 401k) and I'm frustrated by the lack of upward mobility and the terrible splits in revenue vs compensation but I'm worried about giving up job security. Honestly, complacency has gotten the best of me and I'm looking for some advice.

Anyone here do HR for an organization with both union and non union employees? My organization is very small consisting of 8 union employees and 7 non union employees. Evaluating a job offer (yay!)
I have 8 years of HR experience, no college degree, and no HR certification. Titles held have been HR Specialist, HR Administrator, HR Generalist, Associate HR Manager, and most recently, HR Director for only four months (toxic). Geographically speaking, salaries are not very high. I was offered $45k in an hourly role as a site HR rep for a hotel with about 50 employees in a bustling college town. Should I try to negotiate more pay? Any input is appreciated.

Hoping someone could advice on it. I recently accepted a job offer and it has been discussed and confirmed via email/phone that my starting salary is £26k and will raise to £28k after 6 months probationary period. Now, I have been sent the contract but there’s no specific statement about the £28k salary after probation.

It might be a stupid question but I am worried about raising this as an issue. Is this normal? Or is it better to ask for a revised contact with the specifics?

Does anyone have motivating/good sales books to recommend?

So someone I know asked HR about a boot policy. When he found out that there wasn’t one, but his boss said there was (who gave the guys $ for boots and the claimed it on his expense reimbursements as something else) the boss got mad at him for askingHR (and in trouble for the expense reimbursements) and then 2 days later laid off my friend. There appears to be no notice of bad performance and this person always was the first person on the job site ready to work. Thoughts?

I’m looking to carve out my career in HR. I have 2 years in a dedicated HR Coordinator role (essentially with Generalist duties) and 5+ years in senior level hospitality management. I’m interested in getting my PHR or getting a certificate in data analytics with business/HR focus. Thoughts on next steps?

I work in inside sales selling data center hardware to commercial customers. I have the opportunity to take a new field sales role (w/ same company) selling DC equipment to federal government customers. My concern is that I will be stuck in the Federal space and it will be difficult/impossible to ever pivot back to selling in the commercial space. My longterm vision is to go to sales/sales management at a startup. Think this new role helps, hurts, or makes no diff?
