120k household income, no dependents. Life without children should always be comfortable or you're doing something wrong.

Just me and my spouse. He’s a disabled vet. We both also work full time. So our household is a little over $100k I think. It was enough for us to just be approved for our first home!
Congrats on the new home!!
$235K household income, no spouse or kids. One dog. Living alright.

Well I guess if we include animals. We got two dogs a chinchilla and a snake. Soon to be two snakes

$155k household income. It’s manageable but I live in a HCOL area so it’s a bit harder to save

Honestly things are a LITTLE tight. But nothing super major. I didn’t think we were nowhere near ready but we got approved to buy a home.
370k HHI, 2 kids (3 and 1). Pretty comfortable, but feel broke bc we save a ton and daycare is $37k/yr ($712/wk). Financial stress is mostly fictional; affordability is more about what gets compromised vs can we get the money/financing.
$250k income, no dependents. We’re comfortable because we keep our living expenses low so we can max out retirement and other savings now while we’re young. Once we add in a mortgage and day care, our savings level will decrease but I think we’ll still be comfortable enough as long as we continue to live within our means.
Wife only works part time so HHI is about $60k. If there's one good thing about not having kids, it's that we can still get by with our regular-person income.
Comfortable. 800k household income. 3 kids under 8. 120k left on mortgage. No other debt. LCOL area.
