Hi Guys,
I need 11 likes for DM
Thanks
So I have an offer from both EY for Tech Consulting - Cybersecurity and Booz Allen Hamilton for Commercial Cyber Consultant.
While EY pays about 12k more, I’m concerned about my WLB. Booz Allen Hamilton seems great, but the slightly lower pay and smaller commercial practice makes me slightly concerned for my future career opportunities if I decide to leave.
Not sure what to pick and I’d love to hear how your experience has been in the cyber practice at Booz Allen Hamilton & EY

Tips on being/becoming a top performer?
Anybody knows if an amalgamation of IT Audit , Tech Risk skills and Data Analytics/ ML skills might help in doing some interesting work ?
I have done IT audit for 5 years and in IA for last one year. Thinking of learning ML.
Do you think it can have some interesting use cases ? Is anyone doing something similar or has examples from the industry ?

Eh you can navigate Munich fairly easy without knowing German. 80% of germans there know English. Beautiful city and probably cheaper than those other 3 cities to live in. Berlin is even cheaper and has a lot more English speakers, even in the EY Berlin office. All of the German offices require English since their work is in English.
London! If you speak English it’ll be easier. I found Dublin kind of dirty. Never been to Luxembourg or Munich though.
All great choices !!!! But yeah if you speak English London / Dublin will probably be the easiest
What do you mean speak English? Do people working in nyc Deloitte not speak english? Highly confused by that statement
The implication was if you don’t speak the local language in Germany or Luxembourg those might not be good options
Ie if you speak English, Dublin and London are Better
Dublin if you only speak English. Munich if you can speak or want to learn German. I love both cities. Wasn't a huge fan of Luxembourg, but only made a day trip there (I don't speak any French).
Yeah if you can’t speak German then Munich might not be the best option - there are definitely cities in Germany where a lot of people speak English and it’s not really a big deal if you don’t, but Munich isn’t really one of them. In terms of language and opportunities I’d say London is probably your best bet.
