I’m almost 4 years in of going back to work, and I promise you it gets so much easier as time passes, but there are still times where it’s a struggle! Try to prepare as much as you can ahead of the day or week. We set out clothes at night and packed bags or whatever needed for the morning, helps a ton!

That’s helpful to know, thank you! Yes definitely aiming to be as organised as possible but as much as I want to be back at work, I’m also struggling with the thought of being away from my baby! The mom guilt is real

Get your food planned out for the week! Give yourself and your child some grace and try not prove anything to anyone.

It will work. Honestly, what made it easier for me was thinking about all the benefits of early socialization for my daughter or even just getting comfortable with another caregiver. It helped her become more independent in the long run and helped me not get burned out on being a mom. It was hard but it gets better. Eventually everyone has to adjust to the new routine. There's nothing better than the welcome home smiles and cuddles.

Awe I remember how hard that was and like others said it does get better but its so hard the first few weeks. I also agree that getting your food planned out in advance helps and just having everything in ready position for the week to stay organized.

Thank you, really hoping so! I think it’s mostly just nerves

It will work, just first few weeks and that is it. Make organization your friend, prepare ahead.

Max or Lewis fault?

I think it’s 100% on max. By breaking so late he was banking on Lewis backing down, which was very risky.
