I have a new direct report who’s at producer level and needs a lot of hand holding. I’ve been her manager for 6 months and she has yet to do anything without me telling her. Like at the start of a project she doesn’t immediately meet w creatives, work on costs/budget etc. She’s self described as ‘shy’ but doesn’t take initiative. She needs help responding to emails. I’m just not sure she has IT. Suggestions on how to support her but also help her grow welcome!

About rolling off my project with no new project opportunity yet. I’m already getting anxious and can’t have a full night rest with the worry of not finding a project soon and eventually getting laid off. Although I tend to stress-out easily but this type of anxiety is different. Are others feeling the same way? Now I am getting calls from EY GDS for interviews.

I am not sure if u should attend the interview or not at GDS.
When I shared this scenario with my EY IN HR, she said please don't attend it may create conflict and you may also get blacklisted.

EY GDS HR is like, you can attend the interview, there's no problem at all. We don't have such a policy. Please suggest what decision I should make.

My current ctc is 13.8 lpa.Before scheduling L1 interview, HR told me for this role the maximum pay is between 13lpa and 5lpa.. I said ok.. and i have celared the interview as well. Thoughts on “special” salary grades. I just found out the VP I was offered is not a grade 12 like most comparable roles (verified). Also not an 11, but an 11A. Slightly higher than an 11, a good bit lower than a 12. All due to the fact that it’s a leap from my current position. Why should that matter…..shouldn’t it pay what it should pay if I am selected, rather that curving down towards my current rate?
