Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.

There’s a good rule of thumb that if you’re down 6% in a month you should go to cash and not trade for the rest of the month. My brokerage account is heavy in crypto and small caps that actually have cash flow. I’m down 9% this week and will be going to cash unless it’s up by EOD Monday.
I don’t have a read on that part of the market and will admit defeat to preserve cash if needed. Besides, another good downdraft will likely knock out any support under this market anyway.

What are your losses in? It’s a pretty big dip in the market. If anything you should be averaging down.

Not sure when you bought those positions, but that’s a parade of horribles that should have been cut months ago. I’ve shorted at least half that list.

I’d look at each position and make a decision.
I sold a country ETF that was down small because it’s chart looked bad. I’m also wearing a 19% draw down on a small position in $SI. It was a higher risk stock so a smaller allocation. But the chart looks different so hoping for a better outcome. But it’s gone with a red close next week.

At least you’re diverse within tech names.. a lot of people own what you hold but with less variety. Are you speaking to $150K principal or $150K at highs?
