Amen. I lost 40 pounds just walking and watching how I eat in 6 months. Good luck to anyone else on a weight loss journey! JUST KEEP WALKING.
Walking sure doesn’t sell sneakers, vitamins for sore and depleted bodies, hip and knee replacements, electrolytes, pain medications, protein drinks, Pilates classes, gym memberships, etc. That likely at the root of your question. Seemingly, the entire rest of the world outside the U.S. understands that walking is sufficient.
The Blue Zones show on Netflix (or the book) is a nice watch for this sort of reflection. The folks living into their 100s just leisurely walking around in nature, eating a bunch of sweet potatoes, spending loving time in community and gardening surely don’t need to break sweat, bodies or minds to be incredibly prosperous for 10+ decades of life.
Yes, you are 100 percent correct. Get up and move. It is the key to survival and balance. In support of your efforts - keep up the good work.
