Is the future of gaming microtransactions?

New Alan Wake seems to be getting rave reviews, but I see less than stellar reviews about the original. Worth playing the first for the backstory anyway?

Are there any good games that are based on movies? It seems like those always fall so flat, which is too bad because there are obviously a ton of movies out there that would make awesome games.

There's work burnout, then there's game burnout. Lately, even my favorite titles feel like a chore. How do you reignite your passion for gaming when everything feels dull?

Absolutely crushed right now. Been laid off for 6 weeks and my PS5 has kept me occupied and level. Fired it up this morning to dip into Helldivers 2 and got a solid green screen. 2024 can suck it.

Highly recommend Hell Divers 2 - Solo or Group play - Community is great but playing with friends is hilarious.
