I’m a new parent and going back to work in a few weeks. How did y’all manage transitioning back in? I just feel like it’s going to be tough going from being with the baby all day to now having to think about work again.

I’m the dad in the mix and my wife is going to be home full time now to take care of the kid.

I’m curious if anyone uses an app or online format for lesson plans? I’m looking for a good way to streamline the process and hopefully cut down on some prep.

Had a take home case analysis on product development strategy last weekend (already submitted). I now need to present in a day. My concern is that I feel I didn’t cover a lot of relevant things in my analysis. Is it a good idea to create a new ppt (on the same lines but the things that matter - especially around the recommendation) to present in the interview? Or would it look unprofessional?

We have the concept of PM crits at our org, I’m curious if other PMs on here have these at yours? How do you ensure you get the most out of it? Struggling to wrap my head around what I’m supposed to be getting from these sessions (attended by other PMs, Devs and Design)

For getting into UI UX, does Google UX course suffice or should I do a long time course like DesignBoat's course? The designboat course is expensive at this point for me since I need to save up for a medical surgery for my parents and looking for a career switch from being a Art Director to a UX person.
