Bain & Company Hello, I received an offer as a Senior Practice Manager at Bain. The profit sharing range is 0-12% in the offer letter. Is it typical to receive the midpoint (6%)? Also, what do the annual salary increases typically look like? Any insights are much appreciated. Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group McKinsey & Company

Cw 2 - I don’t understand why this is lazy? An app where everyone here is from the same industry. It seems like the most logical way to get first hand information.
This is maybe the laziest way to research
@CP2 I am trying to better my career. I don’t use this app much and some companies don’t have updated Glassdoor reviews. I apologize if this comes across as lazy - but actively trying to find a job on Chicago’s dry market is not lazy.
There is no search button and I can’t spend hours scrolling at work.
There’s is no work-life balance at Havas. But they have cool perks and fun parties!
Don’t work at TracyLocke. Very bad creative
It all depends on the account at Leo. It’s so big some accounts are the size of small agencies.
I worked at VML but in KC and can tell you that place basically shuts the lights off at 5. If the Chicago office is similar you should be alright.
Personally I hated VML but I will say they are good about being protective of people’s time away from work
Work life balance can be challenging but is doable. Culture is in transition with certain accounts being more progressive than others. Leadership lacks diversity at this time.
W/L could certainly be better. I would say this applies to most disciplines/teams but might help to specify what your role is. On culture, I wish there were more diversity in departments beyond just creative. Media side is about as diverse as a kid rock concert which is really disappointing. But it's a fun culture, I feel like I have genuine relationships with my coworkers and people care about and respect everyone for the most part. Fun parties, lots of perks, nice office. Net net I'd recommend to a friend.
There’s no work life balance at Havas NYC. I assume the same is for Chicago. However, I believe part of the problem, industry-wide, is that we’ve all set the standard that we’ll work like dogs to make our client and/or company happy. So it’s hard to then establish parameters for work life balance, especially if you’ve grown in responsibility at one company. I think the best way to have work life balance is to establish clear and realistic boundaries when you start a new job.
@PM1 is that true across all teams?
Thanks all. Was curious about strategy and analytics
