Interviewed recently with @VillageMD. Anyone have any insight about the remote Medical assistant positions? Preferably someone who does or did work in that type of position with this company. How was the workload? How much time is usually spent on the phone answering calls?

Question for those that are familiar with how severance pay works. I received a package a while back and was paid bi-weekly severance. The payments ended a few months ago but just the other day I had a severance deposit. Curious if it’s possible to get additional payment at this point or does this look like a mistake? I know the logical answer might be to just call but I’ll be honest in that I am still looking for a job and this would definitely help me. Thanks for your advice!

Y'all - I am a 2021 grad in a non market amlaw100. I did not hit my 2021 billable target, but first years get a grace period until 3rd year to start hitting it. I also billed 200+ DEI hours and 200+ pro bono. My mentor helped me write a memo advocating for myself to get a discretionary bonus for the DEI and pro bono work AND today I found out that it worked!! I got a discretionary bonus for the work everyone said doesn't get recognized. Advocate for yourselves! And find old white dude allies! 😅

Just heard back from my manager that I was promoted!! And my manager told me the raise would start from Apr so I should expect to see a bit extra on my pay check. The question is last time when I got promoted, I was told the same thing that the salary was increased before I was being told about the good news. However, I didn’t see that pay anywhere.
