What if airbnb gives you a similar suite than the one in the picture but it is still not the same suite? And you tell airbnb but the host says its not accurate and says you are a disrespectful host?

House next to mine near downtown Charlotte was a party house (before and during covid). Tried to be nice to the host, but ended up doing a police arbitration where the host lied about what changes he'd make. Dude charged below market rate, didn't verify IDs, and refused to have a rental agreement or security deposit, so of course the tenants were awful.

I recorded and reported every incident of noise, threats and harassment from tenants (and the host), and it still took 2 years for Airbnb to take him down. It's still a short term rental, but it's not on any well known platforms to maintain volume or attract the partiers. He won't do VRBO bc they require a rental agreement lol

Now that I think about it. I’ve never actually had a pleasant Airbnb experience. One in Sydney had roaches, one Austin had a leaky roof (great when it rained 10 inches) one with sketchy security cameras inside and also pointed at the pool. And one next to a homeless encampment in California 🤔

Omg!!! I forgot my 4th horror story which was roaches. 1000s of small roaches in the apartment. Was a one month rental. Nightmare.

I love Airbnb and use it all over the world.

Both times I’ve had issues, Airbnb resolved them for me

Hey all! Need a couple book recs for an upcoming beach trip.

Looking for a great non-fiction, relating to travel or world history (not just one moment in time). Could also be about the marketing world or memoirs of a business leader kinda thing.

Fiction wise I also like fantasy, paranormal, and romance. Some fave book series are the Black Gryphon from Mercedes Lackey, Game of Thrones, and From Jamaica Lane series. Similar books?

Dry. Acidic nose. But for $10 this wine is amazing. Where else can you find a ‘14 vintage for that cost. I Get nectarine hints maybe plum. Very little body. Mild tannin; I wouldn’t mind putting out for guests. If you’re going for something dry, acidic, in the red department, can’t complain. I picked this one up from Trader Joe’s. Hope you find this helpful!

Hello Fishes - I am a Tax Senior (male) applied for a transfer to Pune office in Kharadi and will be moving around Nov/Dec - no rush as such as we need to report to office by Jan.

Looking for a chilled out flatmate who is also looking for something similar.

My preference would be a 2 BHK fully furnished in a gated society around Kharadi-EonIT park location only. If you are looking for something similar or an amazing flatmate like me, Please drop a DM!
