Can I say my manager and the frequent nonsense meetings? Meetings are like being called to gather gossips. Less accomplishment and more information about someone else's life. It's funny though.

Having to work
SAME 😂😂
Performing the next level’s work for current level’s pay. Time capture and billing.
Oh I have asked in person. I made it very clear that if I’m not getting one I will be going elsewhere and I know they don’t want that lol. I asked in person the first time, got tossed around, and I’m not the best with getting my point across verbally. Hopefully it goes well

Clients. Opposing counsel. Judges. Firm management. Aside from that, my job is fantastic.

Very astute, SA1!
Brutal hours
Lately it's been time away from my kids. They're growing up and having so many firsts. I feel like I'm missing out on really special moments.

Non stop busy season. The last 3 years have been brutal.

Going into the office. Full time remote work please!
I wish no one cared but my company wants to get the best use out of the lease for the space we rent. Also the culture of the company is maintained/grows when we work in the office.
Billables, micromanagement, purposeful career sabotage (keeping you in your place because you're "too good to let go"), others taking credit for my work, working in office, tyrant bosses, being overworked and underpayed, being undervalued.

Staff meetings that could easily be a email to everyone.

Having supervisors that can't do my job try to tell me how to do my job lol
This is a big OOF. I feel you on this one.
I have a micromanager who is constantly on my tail keeping watch of every move. It's so uncomfortable and I can't focus well because I hate being watched. The industry is great and the team and work culture are pretty decent. I just can't shake of that one manager. Have you experienced this before, OP?
I had a manager hire me knowing my experience in a specific topic and knew she had to train me and then got mad when I needed more than a week to learn all of it. She was over my shoulder the whole time and I would leave work in tears most days. It only lasted a month
Customers. Especially the entitled ones aka the Karens. Lol. I can't help but wonder how I ended up here sometimes when I don't even want to face people🤣
Finally someone said it lmao
