2025 for my team was a constant firefight with the CTO skipping 3 levels of ranks and demanding things of us directly. Meanwhile all other teams had free rein to do whatever they wanted. Nobody cared.

That culminated in 2 PMs quitting and 1 EM being fired from the team. Which meant my yearly review was done by a manager who started in December. I got basically a “Meh, you can do better. Because we compared you against the other engineers. The ones not on your team.”

I hate this place so much.

Since iOS 14 changes, Facebook ads isn't the same anymore. Why?

A. >75% iOS users denied tracking. They are no longer tracked across websites/apps. Facebook lost its edge.
B. Targeting and conversion tracking aren't as effective anymore.
C. Many advertisers have been migrating their budgets from Facebook to Apple and Amazon ads.
