Is they paying for school fees? If yes this is gonna be your break up-

1. Rent 7000-9000 (2bhk) decent location
2. Grocery - 3000
3. Utilities- 1200
4. Travel - 2000
5. Eating out -1500
6. Misc - 1000
7. Travel back to India - 1000 (12k/12)

Net - 19k
You can save 11k.

If your kid’s eduction you have to bear then add another 8k/a month.
So saving 3k. This is bit difficult.

For your wife, developers are in demand however finding jobs is difficult since you are competing with global talent.

If you want to take a risk and come, you can try for a year or two.

Worst case go back but if you wife gets 20k salary than 20-25k savings is pretty solid imo.

What should a commercial claims account manager be making as a salary ? Handles asbestos claims only. Works for a TPA handling claims for 4 carriers. Law degree with many years trial experience as in house ID but for personal lines. This is first job handling commercial claims
