What you have seems to be working for you but since you asked the question it seems to be an issue at least sometimes. Seems like you are only missing a sofa. There plenty of cheap sofas if you don’t want to rent. You could also buy a nice trifold sofa bed, futon, day bed etc which are pretty cheap as well. You can donate/throw or sell when it comes time to move.
You can also get a small dining table similarly.
Depending on how nice they are, it should cost you around $1000 which isn’t too expensive even if you donate after a year lease.
You can always buy furniture. If it's not a priority for you or your SO I'd wait to buy something that's quality and that'll last for awhile. I don't think there's a right answer here tbh
As long as when you have people over they don’t think you’re a serial killer- go for it.
I am a 25F. If you don’t usually entertain guests and your girlfriend is not complaining I say allocate your funds towards other things that matter more to you
One thing you could do is just paint your walls so it’s not white. It will make less pressure to actually hang. I would consider getting at least enough furniture for your living room that can all fit inside one of those small moving trucks.
I’m 25F, I’m on the same page as you
No I completely agree. Im buying cheap ass furniture on Amazon because they serve the function i need. But i have high aesthetic demands so I can’t even look at my apartment’s style lol. I rather spend my money elsewhere, and once i know i am in a phase where im not moving in and out every 6 months i will invest more into furnishing my home
Im 26 and live similarly. All good brah
