Any people here who have been following Coca-Cola's commercials since the 90s? I was reading about their heavy lean into the AI space to bring back some of their classic icons (trucks, Santa, etc), and I saw their new AI ad too! Just doesn't hit the same chord for me. What about you? Do you think their AI version is better, worse, same? Love to hear thoughts!

I just want the polar bears. I could see the value in having one ad that can then be tailored to different versions and markets. For the money that Coke has at their disposal, I would have liked to see something else. AI still just has some odd spots in what it makes and it’s so noticeable when you are looking for it.

I assume that the real audience, the general public, is fine with it. The fact that it was AI generated probably doesn't matter to anyone not in the trade. A guy on his couch sees trucks that say Coca Cola and it seems nostalgic and that's all that matters.

Tried this Santorini retailing for $40. Very concentrated but can’t say I was blown away by it. Volcanic terroir dominates almost to the point of obscurity, and it had strong lemon notes, hints of quince, and sea salt. It clashed with Mexican food (hey I knew that beforehand but didn’t think it would clash THAT bad, and usually pair Mexican with Riesling or Gewürztraminer) but I’m going to Greece soon and wanted to drink Greek wine. I drank half at a BYOB, took the bottle home(cont’d)
