Any privacy professionals out there? Curious if there are tools you use to design a privacy program.... I need to layer HIPAA, GDPR, PCI, CCPA, FERPA, +... any direction is helpful.

DLA Piper has some really good tables that help you to build a matrix of requirements based on various privacy legislations to build a baseline project plan. Tools like OneTrust and TrustArc can be good to have a centralised and automated document management system for DPIAs, LIAs etc

I wasn’t sure which bowl to solicit advice from so hoping to catch a bite here. I’m currently in ID. Of course, I want OUT! My interests are L&E and corporate. My options are 1) wait it out where I am in hopes to switch to L&E or 2) in house oil and gas industry transactional work. What would you do and why? I figured this bowl being specific to Texas would understand importance of oil and gas industry.

Additional Posts in Legal Operations

Hello!! I am looking into transitioning into operations, but have only been in law firms for the entirety of my career. 15+ years in commercial litigation, appellate, and family law. What would you as other operators recommend as stepping stones to a legal ops role?? I want to do more with my career without having to go to law school and I’ve grown tired of “being in the weeds” of litigation and family law. TIA!!
