Lean into that CRC experience and show how much you’ve learned on that side, and how much that would help in a CRA position. Look into the entry level positions if you are finding it difficult to get into more advanced ones. Do you feel like you will have an issue if you are wanting to transition?
Yes, I do find breaking through and understanding the steps needed to acquire a CRA position, seems to be cumbersome and unclear. I have a lot of valuable experience!
I think the big thing will be networking. Sounds like you’re already in a great position to transition. I’d reach out to anyone you know doing something similar and talk to them about their career paths, then in interviews highlight how your experience managing trials, working with protocols, and your knowledge of regulations makes you well qualified
Your response is well received. To be quite candid, I am not in communication with CRA who work in the field and the ones who gave me some advice, it seemed more like they were privied to quite a fortunate situation. Tight-lipped about the nuances of the industry.
