currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover

which would you choose here

One more offer in Wipro 24L fixed and 2.5L variable

My LWD is April 8.

Can I give more interviews and reach 30 LPA fixed?

I am 9 years experienced, I can hardly focus on studying to crack top product companies interviews. Seriously I admire your sheer dedication and iron will 👏

Currently, I'm in a product based company since 2yrs and got only 15% hike till now(they said covid crisis).
I'm confused because i really have good recognition here.
Anyway, i need hike for personal reasons.

Is it good to switch from product based company to service based company if I'm offered with good hike? How much can i demand?

Can you get a hike on an offer you did not join last year (provided you aren’t working anymore)? Or your hike will be calculated on your last drawn salary?

Starting a new job at Applied Materials on Monday as a Manufacturing Engineer III. I’ve been out of college for 5 years and all of my work experience till now has been in R&D for start ups and small businesses . So not only is this a new experience for me going into such a large company but also a industry (semiconductors). I have a new employee that started last Monday, unfortunately it’s not going to work out. Long story, but we’re fairly certain the individual is using Meth and appears to have started/restarted fairly recently. I work with physicians, so it’s a consensus. For the people who went back to school to pursue a totally different career, what did you do for work? I don’t think I’d be able to do both my current job and school. I did retail in college and that probably isn’t so smart right now. Neither is working at a restaurant. I don’t think I can go back and live with my parents. I feel like I’m stuck.
