What are my odds of landing a job at a big tech company if I left my current one and spent the next 1-2 months working towards it? No degree, 1 year of experience on small teams, but I feel pretty confident I would do well in an interview. I’m planning on leaving anyways, and finances wouldn’t be an issue. Just wondering if it’s feasible

What do you think are the pros and cons of working at a large insurance company vs. a small one? Considering a jump from big (been with a few carriers for ~15 years) to much smaller but growing.

I was working at a Hotel one night & I saw a man appearing on two different floors, then in the stairwell. The man was in his 70’s or 80’s. He was wearing nothing but tidy whiteys. When he got to the front desk I asked “is everything alright? Are you okay?” (Assuming he may be senile),He wasn’t senile, he went swimming & wanted to make me uncomfortable and started to flirt while in his sopping wet see through tidy whiteys- and of course I had to clean up the water he tracked through the lobby.

Why is it that when I'm not thinking about changing jobs, the recruiters are all over my inbox, but when I'm looking for a new job they're nowhere to be found? It's like crickets.
