I was just talking to a younger friend who goes to Cal and It seems like the kids these days hate FAANG or at least Amazon and Facebook are not desired at all. I personally don’t see too many issues working at either Amazon or Facebook because I work at Deloitte where I’m sure we have many questionable clients and worked in financial services before. I've been fortunate to be in a high-paying position in the Los Angeles area and I rarely see comparable positions posted. The comparable positions at my company are filled by one of the big executive search firms. Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

Anyone have any tips to transitioning from CRC to CRA? Is a CCRC necessary for leveling up?

Has anyone taken the CCRP exam? Currently looking for test prep resources and there are very few. The exam book combo I found on Amazon has mixed reviews and I think the best way for me to prep is to see the questions and get comfortable with them.

What is the correct path to obtain entry level positions in clinical research. My background is in health sciences and work experience has been 3 years as a clinical lab scientist. I have not been getting a whole lot of interviews, but the Interviews that I have secured went well but still resulted in being ghosted by the employer. Thx any advise and help is appreciated!

I’m looking to transition from an academic medical center to pharma or a biotech. I have about 8 years of clinical research experience overall — 7 years combined as a CRC (CRC I, CRC II, and senior CRC) and 1 year as a PM. I’m also recently ACRP-CP certified.
