Whats the range for VP/SVP salary in a large holding company for analytics position?

I am getting only 16.5LPA INR CTC as a recently joined Manager in Deloitte USI Advisory. I calculated it including bonus+insurance+fixed. Am I being lowballed? Please let me know if it is at the level. I am a lateral hire and engineering graduate (B.E).

Ogilvy leadership talk alot about transparency. I would love them to put their words into action. Lauren should come out and confirm that she did not get a bonus (the sad truth of the matter is that despite layoffs, revenue and margin declines, it would not surprise me if she did). Sad state of affairs. Happy to stand corrected.

How does below compare with regional comp for big4? Considering the salary progression and 1/2-bed flats in London being ~£400-500k I can’t see how it’s feasible to ever own a place until SM grades by which point most will be in early/mid-30s...

I'm an Advisory Newly promoted senior. My new compensation is as follows: Merit 3.8% and Promotion increase 5.0%. I assume the 5.00 is standard. But the 3.8% merit promotion? Isn't that quite low? My total pay bump is 6000, making my new comp 74,100 as NYC Advisory Senior Consultant (Assurance)

Has anyone actually looked at the math, calculated, and compared a freelance day rate of about 1-1.2k, booked for whatever % of the year, versus a full time staff salary of say, 200k… at what numbers do they even out when you factor in taxes, health insurance, paid vaca time etc? I recently passed the 1 MM NW mark and originally was planning on diversifying into REI once I hit this mark. However, with the pandemic I'm a little hesitant. For those Real Estate investors out there, how has the pandemic impacted your portfolio? Have vacancies risen noticeably or rents dropped dramatically? How has the moratorium on evictions impacted you?

Does quitting a agency 9-5 to go freelance temporarily look bad on a resume? Times are uncertain but if I quit tomorrow and ended up looking for another agency job in 6 months would that be a turnoff to future employers?
