Any thoughts about Florida's LLM program?

I mean more quality of education and graduates. Not seeking biglaw / big 4 and it's paid for, so the usual discussion about the big 3 (or 4) programs does not apply to me.

Solid program.

It’s very good imo (UF grad 2022) and is easily the “best bang for your buck” program. The professors are very approachable and laid back. The courses are more broad-based survey style so you’ll cover a lot of ground. You’ll leave with a solid understanding of tax for half the price of Georgetown or NYU.

Solid. And I say this as gtown grad. Pretty much same as gtown. NYU gets you a bit more credibility.

Has anyone dealt with stuffing allocation in a non-hedge fund context? It seems even in the HF world the law is fuzzy in using aggregate reverse 704c principles in stuffing allocations. Like, sure, the market is there but no authority really blessed it (other than some Cravath partner’s article in Tax Notes in 2013). If we are talking asset class that isn’t really like marketable securities but might be able to treat it similarly solely by virtue of, say, valuation on a quarterly basis (contd)

I'm currently completing a tax LLM (as a foreign trained lawyer) but considering pursuing a JD. I'd like to do it part-time while working. Which firm/service line gives me the best chance to do both? Also, is part-time Big4 work even a thing?

I'm considering switching my practice from tax to exec comp so that I can work remotely indefinitely. If I dislike it, do you think it would be difficult to switch back? I'm a 4th year that works in biglaw.
