There are lots of negetive reviews about DXC in social networking.. how is the variable payments at the end of the appraisal cycle? There are lot of sacks few year back, is there any stability now. They are offering WFH, is that going to be always or is there any forecast of asking the employees to join any office?DXC Technology

Getting placements is hard but there are some things you can do to increase the likelihood. Listen to what’s being used out there and put your best work in those genres forward. Make sure your tracks are well mastered, trimmed, named clearly without a bunch of junk in the title and ideally have a nice icon for the art so that it’s not generic looking. Make sure there’s proper meta-data on the file with your name and contact phone and email. Also if you have vocals in your track also provide an instrumental version. And if you have any sample in it that isn’t completely royalty free remove them all before sending them out. These seem like small silly things but a lot of people do them incorrectly. Next make sure you host them somewhere that’s super easy to download from like dropbox or some other service - don’t send Soundcloud links that people can’t download etc. As far as getting them out to the right people for placements, I always suggest that people have other people or services do the legwork to find placements. If you’re a musician you should be spending your time writing the best music you can write and have other people emailing and submitting your music all day. There are lots of different markets and you should find services or reps to cover each of them, some people are better at TV, some at advertising, some in trailers etc. A lot of people will tell you that they’re great in all markets but that’s usually not the case. I suggest that people do non-exclusive deals with getting your music out so that you can put your music with several different services. Just be careful and don’t spread yourself too thin amongst tons of places. I also suggest people be careful signing any deal that gives away any of their writers royalties or allows the service to rename their tracks so that the service can collect part of the royalties. I don’t like that practice. Beyond that just keep writing great music that is in the style of what’s popular. Watch the award shows for advertising trailers etc. and identify genres arrangement techniques etc. so that you’re putting out music that will fit with what people are using. Good luck!
