I got H1B visa and 83K USD petition amount as annual package. Here I and my wife both are working and earning 50LPA together. Left McKinsey for a Fintech corporate last year. Really disappointed to see bonuses given out (cash is equivalent to half month salary, equity vested over 5 yes also not great) after getting the 5/5 rating and business doing well overall. Doubting my decision to come to industry. Is this the norm? Feels really low as historically variable has been a big enough component for me to pay down loans/invest.

Hi fishes! I had asked for benefits other than CTC which Bank of America provides & now that I've completed 1 month here, here's the list of allowances you'll be getting irrespective of position/band:

1. Sodexo: 1300 p.m./ 15,600 p.a.

2. Transport allowance: 900 one way, 1800 two ways p.m./ 21,600 p.a.

3. Internet: 1500 max p.m. (other than that, one time installation charges)

4. Tuition fee: Any certification related to your field. Like CFA, FRM etc. 3,00,000 p.a.

Currently work in a very unique Wealth Management ops role.

Getting paid 85k base with 40k in bonus plus about 35k~ in OT.

Money isn’t everything but in my late 20s it feels like the only thing important right now.

WLB is next to zero as 60hr weeks are the minimum as of late. Management feels like they are trying to push a few of us out. Was told not to expect much come year end for comp. Any suggestions on finding a new role/pay expectations?
