You don’t say anything while interviewing, only after once you’ve started, but wait as long as you can. If you’re kinda showing, maybe wear something that will look less obvious (not form fitting etc). How would they know it’s not just extra weight? Be mindful of not touching your belly the way expectant moms tend to do. I know, sounds a bit much and maybe it is, but if you need a job…..and, still plenty of places that will discriminate secretly.
Totally! My husband said the same thing. Thank you!
You’re not required to disclose your pregnancy, but in many companies you won’t receive full paid maternity leave unless you’ve been employed for at least 4-6 months.
I’d need mat leave from mid Jan
As someone who had a job offer revoked after I told them I was pregnant and subsequently suing them…do not disclose.
Wow.
Publicis 1 is definitely not a woman. So many employers will not hire you if they know you’re pregnant. They will disguise their reasons as “immediate staffing needs”. A pregnancy is personal health information. Your employer doesn’t have any more right to know than any other health personal health condition you might have.
I feel like, it’s none of their business. Wait until two weeks before you want to go on mat leave. Honestly so much can change very quickly. Good luck!
Then tell them🤷♀️
