In the same boat! EEE from last 2 years and being denied promotion from SS-SSS. Being given various reasons like cost cutting applicable only to my case but counterparts in core getting promotions. Being a high performer in a low cost model with project support isn’t enough.
This is my exact situation. I put the most effort into client work because we're told it's most important but that doesn't seem to be enough? I'm seriously thinking about switching to another talent model. It's tough seeing Core people I directly managed on projects now being promoted above me. Makes no sense. Not to mention my project leads all vouching for me to get promoted, but still it's not enough apparently.
You're not alone. I've also been repeatedly denied either the opportunity for promotion or this year denied my actual promotion, also with two E's. There's no category I haven't gotten an E in at some point.
It seems clear that they are just always going to prioritize people they got earlier in their careers who fully drink the kool-aid over much more experienced hires. I've seen people promoted far beyond their competency while we get passed over again and again. I know for a fact there are people who have been promoted who have only gotten one E ever and were told they were basically given it to justify promoting them. While people who earn them get denied. I cannot be convinced it's anything but intentional.
