Not in performance, but that was exactly how I felt when I was working in social. Nothing like spending tens of thousands optimizing a campaign just to have an algo shift spike CPM by 300%. I do not miss it at all.

The absolute worst. Google, TikTok, meta. They all have the power to up end at any given time. Same thing is happening already with LLMs. Brands are chasing what content to make for the feeder sources but Google changes one thing and all of a sudden all that work you put in Reddit is less impactful.
