I tend to stick to the classics (styles that have been around for a while versus trendy pieces). There are a few Chanel cruise collection pieces that I think are cute and similar to their more traditional pieces. Also, generally not a huge fan of LV since it seems like everyone has it. Where I live, a lot of people deck themselves out in it and I think that’s tacky. My style is also more classic/reserved, like iykyk.

Yeah Chanel is getting tacky- like pearls, coin chains, big CHANEL… Urgh! LV has been known for the monogram (some ppl not a fan which is understandable) but at least it is functional and durable

Totally agree with you, OP. In Part it's the return of the ugly 90s. Original European designers are dead, their names are nothing but brands that have to keep creating something new more and more frequently. It's a hot mess that lost its way...

Thoughts on this Celine Tripmphe bag (maybe in teen size since I’m petite)? I LOVE Celine bags and already own Classic Box (light grey) and Micro Belt bag (amazon green). Interested in everyone’s opinions on replica luxury. I ask because, as noted in the previous thread re: Chanel’s price increases, the quality of authentic luxury bags is going way down while the price increases consistently. Specifically Chanel and LV. I’m fascinated in the online rep community and it looks like rep quality has increased exponentially (with genuine materials and 1:1 markings, stitching, hardware, etc). What’s your argument for or against replicas?
