Hi Everyone, applied to Walmart Global Tech Java Developer role, with 3.5 YOE. Role requirements are 2-7 years experience in Java, Microservices, etc.. Interview scheduled this week.

Any idea on interview process, level of difficulty and CTC expectations

Current CTC - 9.2 LPA
Expected - 15+ LPA - As market is Employee friendly and one person I know joined for 15+ LPA with similar experience.

If you are a first year in a stub year, and significantly under billable hours requirement, do firms typically still give pro rated bonus? Do first year stub associates really ever hit their pro rated hours in those 2-3 months?

I’m curious to know if anyone has experience working part-time in architecture? I have been working for large international firms in NYC for the past 10 years. So I work all day every day. My evenings and often the weekends are all absorbed by work duties. Working part-time would allow me to find a better balance, and carve out space for side gigs and eventually start my own firm. I have recently joined an organization as a backend developer but after joining they are putting me in a fullstack role because I had some experience with React.
I am open to fullstack role but my interests is more towards backend.
But I am concerned that I would be put into frontend only and a I would not be given backend work or else it could be 20-80(B&F).

What should I do in this position? Is fullstack a good option.

Hi all, I have a slightly different ask. I have 5 YOE as IT BA. Does shifting from IT BA/Product to Management Consulting common? I have ONLY heard the other way round😂
The problem is I'm heading towards Lead BA or Product Mgmt roles which are more on management side and I want to continue being an IC for a couple more years. There's obv an intersection of skill sets across the 2 worksteams. Can any shifters or mgmt consultants suggest if that is a good switch now?
