Why would you ever want to rollover your 401K into an IRA? It seems like doing so would essentially prevent you from successfully being able to do a IRA to Backdoor Roth IRA conversion due to the pro-rata rule. Am I missing something? Wouldn’t you always want to just rollover your old 401Ks to your new 401K?

Choosing between two offers right now and not sure what to do. Both places have solid reputations, option A’s maybe slightly better. I like the location of option A more and think it would open up more doors long term. Option B is also a good opportunity and maybe would be more satisfying short term. I have received offer from KGS gurgaon, on friday last week and the HR was also supposed to send me the Joining bonus letter, it's been 5 days now when ever I call the HR she says she will send it but not received it yet, should I keep doing the follow up or it's ok to wait because this was discussed verbally over the call only. Also they have given me 10 lpa fixed from 6.2 fixed current ctc.Yoe-3 Education-graduate
