Anyone just switch jobs and realize how crazy of an impact stress / anxiety can have on you? I didn’t realize that constant hum keeping me awake was stress / anxiety from my old corporate job. It’s not perfect, but it feels better on the other side. That job wasn’t worth it.

It is kind of amazing how that can happen. You don't realize how much something is impacting you until it's gone. My current job is stressful but nothing like the constant, overwhelming, anxiety-inducing stress of my last job.

As someone who went from one toxic job to another, it’s hard to remember a time when I wasn’t controlled by stress. I can only imagine the relief you feel. Hopefully one day I will find a workplace that is more peaceful.

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

Im pretty extroverted, I have been told in reviews that I peak in verbal communication, and I have really loved conducting expert interviews in DDs.
