Heard about it—
My issues are (a) they hid their Facebook reviews section after a whole slew of unfavorable comments— signals a dishonest company (b) I didn’t like the idea of having to commit full price to the clothes before trying them on.
I’ve used Prime Wardrobe before. I think the service itself is fabulous. The options like you mentioned are ehh...not the trendiest. Amazon is just not my go-to for fashion (it’s mostly good for basics). Buttt....they did drop (pun intended) The Drop recently, so let’s see if it improves the options. Link to The Drop below

Were you thinking of using Allume/Prime Wardrobe?
I’ve used it! I really like it. I’m bad at shopping so it helps me focus on items that are stylish and fit my needs. It’s like curated online shopping that you pay $20 for. If I choose to buy, the $20 is refunded. The charges are direct from the vendors as is the shipping. Happy to answer any other questions
I’ve had good experiences with Stitch Fix. Takes a few boxes and detailed reviews before they get to know your style and fit, but then I had a bunch of wins
